Goron was the Chief of the Sûreté in the latte part of the 19th century and here is reprinted portions from two of his other books, "Coup Double" and "Policiers et Rastas". Square, tight and clean throughout with a touch of wear to edges and tips but very minor. Contemporary ownership signature adn date on front paste-down. A very well-preserved copy. Lacking scarce dust-wrapper. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon title.
