14" x 10.5", 123pp. Solid First printing of this edition. Likely an update of Whitman's "100 Best known Fairy Tales" published in 1933. Bound in illustrated paper-covered boards with 1/4 black cloth. Square and solid. Wear to edges and tips. Surface wear. Pages toning and foxing to endpapers and paste-downs. Front hinge cracked but quite firm. A few tiny tears to spine cloth. Illustrated by Anne Anderson and Maurieta Wellman. Not perfect but still bright and pleasing, a great price and uncommon in any condition.
