8vo.252pp. Beautiful First Edition, bound in original maroon pebbled cloth with titles stamped in gilt on front board and spine. Patterned end-papers. Square, tight and clean throughout with perhaps a hint of wear to spine ends rubbing to bottom edges but quite minor. Bookseller tag (Gimbels), lightly tipped in on the rear end-paper. Remarkably well-preserved. Very attractive unclipped art-deco dust-jacket, ($1.75), has some fairly minor chipping to edges and spine ends. A couple of short closed tears. Some minor water-staining on bottom of the front flap and verso of the front panel but invisible from the front. Light soiling on the rear panel. Still quite fresh and bright and scarce in any condition. A gorgeous collectable copy of a quite uncommon title. (Hubin p.149).
