8vo., 302pp. Solid Stated First Edition of the second appearance of Viennese detective Baron von Kaz. Bound in green with titles super-imposed in green under a darker green decoration on spine. Light wear to spine ends and tips. Slight spine lean. Some spotting and soiling. Neat ownership signature on front endpaper above ghost of a price sticker. Small price sticker on rear end-paper. Off-setting to gutters. Acceptable unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.00), has some chipping, rubbing and closed tears. Spine ends reinforced on the verso with tape. Still bright, colorful and extraordinarily difficult to find. Not perfect for sure but a decent collectable copy of a quite scarce title in any condition. (Hubin p.390).
