The Potter's Wheel
London: Henry Hartley, 1931. 1st Edition. Cloth. Fine / Very Good/Near Fine. Item #009714
8vo., 255pp. Beautiful First Edition of this very scarce tale of love, jealousy, and of course an international spy ring out to steal the formula for a death ray. Bound in publishers red cloth with titles in white on spine. Red top-stain Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Perhaps a touch at the heel but insignificant. Very well preserved. Stunning unclipped dust-jacket, (correct 7/6 net on front flap), has some soiling and fairly minor edge-wear. Still bright and fresh with no chipping, creases or tears. A superior copy of an impossible to find title in any condition; particularly in dust-jacket. This one is gorgeous. No copies currently in the market. (Surprisingly not in Hubin but likely but with the Death Ray element the title and author is found in Chute's and Nichols' "The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction", 3rd Edition.).
