8vo.,311pp. Beautiful Stated First US Edition published the year after the English edition. Original black cloth with titles in black upon red bands on front board and spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a bit of bumping to spine ends and bottom tips. Equally attractive clipped dust-wrapper is otherwise pretty much without discernible wear. Perhaps a touch of toning to the green in the spine panel but very minor. Fresh and bright with no creases, chipping or tears. An amazingly well preserved example though missing the very scarce wrap-around band. A simply gorgeous collectable copy at a great price. (Hubin, p.411).
