Inscriptions from Dante's Divina Commedia in the Streets of Florence

Milan: Alfieri & Lacroix, 1913. First Edition. Soft cover. Very Good/Near Fine. Item #011410

12mo., 88pp. Stiff cardboard wraps. Sharp presumed only edition of this guide for Florence where the city has placed name markers at all the sites mentioned on Dante's work. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no interior toning. Bookplate on front paste-down, with some off-setting to the flyleaf opposite, indicating seemingly that the book was from the library of an apparently now defunct hermitage, Eremo di Schifa-Nebbia. Small, faint sticker ghost on front paste-down. Mild surface and edge-wear. Boards toning. Lacking ribbon ties. No chipping or tears. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon title at a great price.
