Sharp True First Edition, First Printing with all issue points called for; "presumptive" on last line of page 9, no mention of this title in rear ad pages, "A Treatise on the Practice of Medicine" being the first title listed on the first page of ads in rear. Bound in publisher's original cloth in the much scarcer mustard yellow color, (there are at least four others). Butterfly patterned end-papers in green shade. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no interior toning. An errant spot here or there but barely. Some bumping to spine ends and very mild wear to edges and tips. Light soling and spine a touch toned. Bookplate on front paste-down that may be removable. A very pleasing collectable copy of a landmark in 19th century American literature and priced very well.
