8vo., 325pp. Sharp Reprint Edition of the author's first book; originally published by Dutton in 1924. No date listed other than original copyright but likely circa late 1920's. Bound in blue cloth with tiles in gilt on front board and spine. Square, tight and clean throughout save a previous owner's signature and date, (2/1/35), in ink on the front paste-down. Trivial wear to spine ends and top tips. Gilt a bit dulled. Some white fading spots on fore-edge. Equally attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust jacket has some tiny nicks at the crown and a couple of short closed tears. Still quite bright and fresh and very well-preserved. A beautiful collectible copy of a surprisingly uncommon edition and very scarce to find it in such a nice dust-jacket.
