Originally published in Bookseller Mystery magazine in 1947 though this edition has several additional stories. Square, tight and clean throughout save some light off-setting to end-papers. Gentle bumping to crown and bottom rear board. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (9s. 6d. net), has some chipping to spine ends top front tip. A touch of soiling. A couple of tiny closed tears. Still fresh and bright, From the library of Author and Sherlockian Vincent Starrett with his signature on the half-title page. A very pretty collectable copy.
