12mo., 242pp. Beautiful First Edition. Original red cloth with titles in black on front board and spine. Square , tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. A touch of bumping to tips and spine ends but quite minor. Spine panel ever-so-lightly toned. Very attractive and quite scarce clipped dust-jacket has some wear and rubbing to edges and tips. Some nicks to spine ends and one on the rear panel. A couple of tiny closed tears. Still a solid, bright, complete example. Inscribed and signed by the author on the dedication page to someone clearly closer than just a literary fan, "Dearest Leonie, with love, Mary Grace Chute". A gorgeous collectabe copy of an uncommon anthology, particularly in jacket and signed, with no other copies as such in the market. (Hubin p.81) (Queen: The Detective Short Story, p.26).
