12mo., 306pp. Beautiful early reprint, the "Popular" Edition, July 1926. Originally published in 1921 with a second printing and a "Cheap" edition following in 1923 before this edition, Square, tight and solid throughout with little or no wear save some gentle bumping to the crown. Some off-setting discoloration on paste-downs and some scattered spotting to outer page edges but no interior toning or foxing. Very well-preserved. Very attractive clipped dust-jacket, (2'6 net on spine panel), has a tiny whole on the rear panel and short closed tear on the front. Light edge-wear. Still amazingly fresh and bright and very difficult to find in any condition. A gorgeous collectable copy and quite uncommon in this condition and scarce in the original dust-jacket. (Hubin, p.343).
