Square and solid with minor bumping and wear to spine ends and tips. Some rubbing and very light toning to spine. Some space between the crown cloth and text-block but quite secure. Ownership signature on front end-paper, Off-setting to end-papers and some fairly light scattered foxing. From the library of noted New Jersey Irish-Ameican author, collector and professor of Irish history and literature, Tom Fox with his unobtrusive blind-stamp on the title page and his small, neat signature on the flyleaf. Fox was called by Nicholas Basbanes, ",,, a kindred spirit...assembler of an uncommonly distinctive collection of Irish history and literature". A very pretty collectable copy.
