Square, tight and generally clean throughout with no toning but foxing to plates. Fairly mild wear to spine ends and tips. Cloth puckering on front board. Front hinge cracked with gutter paper roughly re-glued. Small ownership stamp on a few pages. Bookplate of the Society of Cincinnati on front paste-down. One page of the table contents with 1" piece torn from outer edge though not affecting text. Not perfect but a presentable and readable collectabe copy at a great price.
