Sharp Photoplay Edition of this non-mystery story by Roberts made into the 1918 film starring Doris Kenyon and produced by here own company, De Luxe Pictures. Only original 1914 publication date listed but likely published later in 1918 to coincide with the release of the film. Bound in brown cloth with titles stamped in darker brown on front board and spine. Frontis photo of both Kenyon and Roberts. A couple of additional illustrations though no stills from the film. Square, tight and clean throughout with fairly mild wear to spine ends and tips. Clean interior with no foxing and little if any toning. Small, neat ownership name and date on front end-paper. Solid. unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, with photo still of Kenyon on the front panel. Some closed tears to edges and front panel that have been unobtrusively repaired with tape on the reverse. Small abrasion to spine panel and minor edge-wear. Still bright and complete and impossible to find in any condition. A very pretty, collectable copy.
