12mo., 254pp. Sharp First Edition, undated but c. early 1930's, Bound in red cloth with titles in black on spine. Publisher's slogan in black on rear board. Advertisements on paste-downs. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a touch of wear at the spine ends and bottom edge but quite minor. mile bumping here and there but trivial. Very well-preserved for such delicately and cheaply made books that Modern Publishing, (and others of the era), are notorious for the poor condition they are typically found in. Very attractive original unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, (2/- on spine panel), presents well but has chipping to tips, pine ends, and rear edges. A few closed tears that have been reinforced with tape on the reverse though unseen from the front. a touch of soiling on rear panel. Not perfect but still bright and complete and very tough to find in any condition. A solid collectable copy and quite scarce with no other copies currently in the marketplace. (Hubin p.262).
