8vo., 331pp. Sharp Stated First Edition, (American) of this uncommon story of a scientific evil genius bent on world domination. Published by Cassell in the UK the same year. Bound in original red cloth with titles stamped in black on spine and front board. Square, tight and clean throughout save name in date in pencil on the front paste-down that should be able to be easily erased if desired. No toning or foxing. A touch of softness to the spine ends but quite minor. very well-preserved. Very attractive unclipped original publisher's dust-jacket, ($2.00 on top of front flap), has tiny chips to the spine ends and tips. 2" split from the bottom of the front fold but actually quite unobtrusive. Light soiling to rear panel. Still fresh and bright and quite scarce in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy and tough to find, particularly in such nice condition.
