Original publisher's brown cloth with blind-stamped design to front board and gilt stamped spine. Square and solid with fairly moderate wear to spine ends and tips. Very clean cloth though wrinkled. Spine gilt bright and clean. Just a touch of toning to interior and penciled gift inscription on first blank. Important early work on grape growing and wine making including the cost associated and yields of acreage of different varietals. Most of which are not seen today. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon book and at a great price. (Gabler p.136 G24690).
