Slim 8vo.,110pp. Sharp First Printing of the First Book by the beloved author, poet, humorist, and founding member of the Algonquin Round Table. Bound in quarter black cloth over orange paper-covered boards with black avant garde decorations. Square, tight and clean throughout save a couple of scattered spot to the preliminary pages. A touch of rubbing to the spine ends but trivial. Some moderate wear to tips. Very attractive unclipped, and quite scarce, dust-jacket, ($2.00 on the front flap. is neatly split the entire length of the spine with a large chip out of the rear panel and a few small ones to the spine ends and tips. Small tape reinforcement on the verso of the spine. Some associated creases and closed tears. Not perfect but still solid and largely complete and quite difficult to find in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
