Bound in publisher's pebbled red cloth with lettering stamped in gilt on front board and spine. Top edge gilt. Two fold-out maps. The American Edition is quite a bit scarcer than the British. Square, tight and clean pages. Ownership inscription on front end-paper and small bookplate on front paste-down. Little if any wear but some mild spotting to spine and front outer edge. Very well-preserved and a lot better than most. A handsome collectable copy at a great price.
