Bound in light blue cloth with lettering in red on front board and spine. Navy and gilt illustration on front board. Interior illustrations by Lester Ralph. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a touch of wear to the spine ends. Rear hinge starting but quite firm. Remarkably well-preserved. Beautiful illustrated dust-jacket is unclipped, though unpriced, has some toning and spotting. A few short closed edge-tears. But still fresh and bright with no chipping or creases. these early jackets, especially the ones that were illustrated, not just with printed titles, are quite uncommon, particularly in nice condition. A very pretty collectable copy.
