8vo., 292pp. Sharp Photoplay Edition, undated but published to coincide. with the 1941 release of the Howard Hawks film starring Gary Cooper and Walter Brennan. Originally published by Funk & Wagnalls in 1922. Bound in publisher's green cloth with titles stamped in navy on front board and spine. Navy top-stain. No screen shots within interior pages. Square, tight and clean throughout with none of the usual toning or foxing to pages. A touch of softness to pine ends. Some fairly faint uneven toning areas to the boards. Still quite well-preserved. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket with screen shot of Gary Cooper on the front panel. A few tiny nicks and one1/2" closed edge-tear . A couple of spots of soiling. Still fresh and bright and presents very well. A handsome collectable copy and surprisingly uncommon in nice condition.
