8vo., 288pp. Beautiful First Edition of this Gothic suspense story. Bound in red cloth with black lettering. Square, tight and clean throughout save a few scattered spots on the fore-edge. Spine ends just a touch soft. Front top edge very lightly toned. Penciled ownership signature on the front end-paper. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, (7/6 net on the spine panel), has a couple of tiny nicks to the crown and tips. Mild soiling Very tiny closed edge-tears. Still, fresh and bright and very scare in any condition. . A sharp collectable copy of a quite scarce book and almost impossible to find in dust-jacket.
