Thick 8vo., 973pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition, First Printing with full number sequence. Follett's epic about medieval cathedral construction and the people involved. Bound in half brown cloth over brown paper-covered boards with lettering in gilt on spine and author's facsimile signature in gilt on front board. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Remarkably well preserved for such a thick book. Probably unread. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($25), is fresh and bright with no chipping, creases, toning or tears.
