Bound in black cloth with lettering in gilt on the spine and facsimile of author's signature in gilt on front board. Red top-stain. Mapped end-papers. Two, 2-page maps in rear. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. A couple of small, faint spots on the fore-edge. Very mild toning to spine as is quite common. Lacking publisher's slipcase but comes with the original glassine protector which has a small chip at the heel and is mildly rubbed. . A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
