Slim12mo, 164pp. Sharp First British Edition of perhaps the most significant piece of American literature in the 20th century. Bound in green cloth with gilt spine lettering. Tight and solid. Light spotting to the end-papers. Barely a hint of page toning. Very mild edge-wear and a tiny nick to the cloth at the crown. Bookseller ticket of Galignani of Paris on the front paste-down. Beautiful unclipped dust-jacket, (8s. 6d. net on the bottom of the front flap), has a touch of rubbing to spine ends and mild toning to the rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases, or tears. Just about Fine if not there. A very pretty collectable copy of an uncommon title, particularly in such nice condition.
