Slim 8vo., 176pp. Beautiful First Edition of this quite scarce tale of espionage during WWII. Bound in orange cloth with lettering on spine in black. Square, tight and clean throughout with remarkably clean pages with no toning or foxing. A touch of softness to spine ends and a small, gentle bump to the top front edge. A couple of spots on the cloth but quite minor. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (8/6 net on bottom of the front flap), has a short closed tear and associated creases on the bottom rear panel. Mild wear to spine ends. Rear and spine panels mildly soiled. Still fresh and bright and impossible to find in any condition. A gorgeous collectable copy of a very tough to find title with no other copies currently in the marketplace. (Hubin, p.9).
