12mo.,254pp. Beautiful First Edition, undated but actually 1935, Bound in red cloth with titles in black on spine. Publisher's slogan in black on rear board. Advertisements on paste-downs. Square and solid with very mild rubbing to spine end and tips. Page edges only lightly toned. No foxing. Remarkably well-preserved for such delicately, and cheaply, made books that are notorious for the poor condition they are typically found in. Very attractive original unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, (2/- on spine panel), has some tiny nicks to the spine ends and tips. A couple of very short closed edge-tears. Spine and rear panel mildly toned. Still fresh and bright and quite scarce in any condition. A sharp collectable copy. (Hubin, p.331).
