This privately printed edition, was presented to the author of the reports in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of his election as a Trustee to the Carnegie Corporation. This is his personal copy, signed by a number of VIPs, family and friends on the front end-papers, including one of a Henry James, son of philosopher William James and nephew of Henry James the author. Bound in navy cloth with lettering and decoration in silver, gold and white. Square, tight and clean throughout with barely a hint of page toning. Very mild edge-wear. Spine cloth toned and lettering a bit dulled. A handsome collectable copy of a very scarce item.
